Tasteful grey.Once paired with a warm tan, I knew it would forever be my go to… So it’s no surprise that this lovely grey rope knitted basket has won my heart.

Gummy Colas & chocolate covered gummies in one bag, and banana heads and sour peaches in the other. Mixing would be sacrilegious. And if I’m anything, it’s strict when it comes to religion!

Goals vs Resolutions
As the conversation of resolutions swirled around the dinner party, it become obvious to me that I’d rather refer to them as goals.  Goals you set.  Strive for in order to avoid feeling like a failure.  Frankly, take more seriously.  That said, one of my goals for 2012 is to live in the moment.  No longer wait for a more perfect time to fill.in.the.blank.  Whether it’s debuting my brand new shoes, arranging a date with a long lost friend or taking a vacation to the end of the world, I find myself letting perfect get in the way of good.  So although I’d love to simply display these graphic logs in our fireplace, it’s time to light them up and dirty the fireplace.  Because at the end of the day, if I died tomorrow, I’d have had no good reason why I didn’t enjoy the roaring fire.

So now this beauty is on my mobile.  Thankfully not the typical case you find in the apple store.  A reminder that in order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.
Thank you Coco Chanel.

No Trousers on the Tube dayThis annual social media-driven event, held on subway systems worldwide on Sunday, saw 150 people strip to their underwear on the London tube.
Entertaining, yes.  But a good idea…?

Construction on the Brooklyn Bridge began on Januay 3, 1870. Ultimately bringing together two seemingly distant things. It took 13 years and five months to build… worth every, often time painful, minute. In the end, the connection between the two is as beautiful as the design itself.
Isn’t that usually the case?

Life is too short.  And for that reason (but not that reason alone) I formally introduced myself to Isabel Marant.  Happy 2012 to me.
